Random Acts of Kindness

Kindness and compassion, among others, are virtues of Amazing Care that run deep through the heart of TrueScripts. While on a day-to-day basis, it is our mission to enrich the lives of others by providing prescription benefit management services, our acts of service extend far beyond that of PBM expertise.

We advocate, we serve, we pray, we promote, and we act! No matter how small the act, we spread kindness in all that we do and make it our personal mission to leave others better than we found them. During the holiday season, these acts of kindness often hold more significance than usual, as this is certainly not “the most wonderful time of the year” for all. And for those who may be struggling during the holidays, it is more critical than ever that we do our part to share kindness and joy.

From the very beginning, TrueScripts has had the desire for each of our team members to experience what it is like to “pay it forward.” And so, each year, team members are given a small fund to be spent on providing Random Acts of Kindness to others throughout December. Christmas time is a very special time of year for the TrueScripts family, and our Random Acts of Kindness ventures are one of the main reasons. We truly feel that giving is better than receiving and have been blessed to provide others with kindness in the following ways this year:

Leaving generous tips to the staff at local restaurants, hair salons, and more.
Delivering lunches, gift baskets, flowers, and cards to healthcare staff.
Purchasing Christmas gifts, school supplies, clothing, and more for children in need.
Handing out Christmas cards with cash to individuals at random.
Organizing private movie theater showings for special needs groups.
Taping gift cards to gas pumps as a surprise to the next unsuspecting patron.
Taking quarters to the laundry mat so that others may do their laundry for free.
Sponsoring pet adoptions at local animal shelters.
Donating supplies and/or money to a variety of non-profit organizations.
Delivering hot coffee to those working out in the cold.
Donating cash anonymously to families in need.
And more!

The world can be a dark place, but if these random acts of kindness can help alleviate burdens and lift the spirits of our neighbors in need, then we have taken a massive step in the right direction.

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

A Culture of Giving Back

At TrueScripts, giving isn’t just an occasional act—it’s woven into the fabric of who we are. From the company’s inception, our founders envisioned a culture that prioritized not just business success, but also the betterment of our communities. This commitment is reflected in everything we do, from our annual profit tithing to the personal generosity we encourage among our team members. Each year, TrueScripts donates 10% of its profits to charitable organizations. This isn’t a practice we adopted over time; it’s a cornerstone of our mission. It underscores our belief that success isn’t solely measured in dollars, but in the impact we can have on others. Our Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) program empowers every team member to make a difference. Each year, employees receive funds to donate to nonprofit organizations they’re passionate about. This program fosters personal connections to causes, ensuring our giving resonates deeply and authentically. But it doesn’t stop there. Around the holidays, team members are gifted additional RAK funds to spread kindness in everyday life. Whether it’s paying for a stranger’s coffee, leaving an extra-generous tip at a favorite restaurant, or helping a family in need, the choice is theirs. These acts of kindness create ripple effects, bringing joy and relief in ways that may seem small but often mean the world to those on the receiving end. In addition, we maintain a dedicated pool of RAK funds overseen by a committee. This resource allows us to respond to extraordinary circumstances—a coworker’s friend battling cancer, a family rebuilding after a house fire, or countless other situations where immediate support can provide a lifeline. At TrueScripts, giving extends beyond financial contributions. Our team actively participates in volunteer opportunities, faith-based services, and community events. Our goal is not only to share our expertise in prescription benefits but to create an environment of support and encouragement, fostering hope for those around us. We are proud of our giving culture and the difference we make—individually and collectively. Through intentional acts of kindness, faith-driven service, and community support, TrueScripts reaffirms its mission to not only improve lives but to inspire others to do the same.
