TrueScripts Management Services (“TrueScripts”) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We understand and respect the importance of privacy to the visitors of our site, www.truescripts.com; however, we may collect and store information from the site so that we can efficiently provide our services. The TrueScripts Management Services Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines the types of information we may collect from you and how we handle the personal information that you provide to us.

We collect information from you when you browse our site or fill out forms such as the New Member Intake, Prescription Drug Reimbursement, Prior Authorization, or Contact Us form. When appropriate, you may be asked to enter personal information such as your name, birthdate, phone number, etc. Any personal health information you are asked to provide is protected under HIPAA. 

In addition to personal information, we may use or disclose patient and/or member information that has been deidentified as permitted by law to the extent we sell or share such deidentified patient and/or member information; we do so pursuant to one of the deidentification methodologies described in Section 164.514(b)(1) or (b)(2) of Title 45 of the Code of Federal Regulations, commonly known as the HIPAA expert determination method and the HIPAA safe harbor method, respectively. 

To ensure that our site and content provide the best user experience, we use cookies or web beacons to collect aggregate data. Usage of a cookies is in no way linked to your personal identification information. When visiting our site, we may collect non-personal information including, but not limited to, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, browser software (i.e., Internet Explorer, etc.), and site activity (pages viewed, clicks, actions, etc.).

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. Our site is not designed for or directed at children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@truescripts.com. 

If you are a California resident under the age of 18 and are a registered user of our site, you may request that we remove from our site any content you post to our site that can be accessed by any other user (whether registered or not). Please note that any content that is removed from visibility on our site may still remain on our servers and in our systems. TrueScripts offers access to healthcare service messages via recurring SMS (Short Message Service) text and email notifications. Enrollment in text or email services requires a patient to provide their own mobile phone number or email address. 

If you consent to our text or email services, you may receive messages regarding savings opportunities for your prescription drugs, confirmations of refills, or updates regarding your plan. If you consent to receiving these messages, there is potential of your health information being seen or accessed by people who use or access your phone. At any time, you may update your privacy settings in the TrueScripts Member Portal or contact TrueScripts opt out of messages.

• It’s important we have an up-to-date contact number. Please keep TrueScripts informed if your contact information changes. This can be done via our portal or by calling our member care services.

• If you share your mobile phone with someone else, be aware that they may see your text or email messages from TrueScripts.

• If you consent to receiving texts or emails others may see these messages displayed on your screen even when your phone is locked (this can be amended in your settings).

TrueScripts does not impose a separate charge for text alerts; however, your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply depending on the terms and conditions of your mobile phone contract. You are solely responsible for all message and data charges that you incur. Please contact your mobile service provider about such charges. 

TrueScripts may change or discontinue any of its text alert programs without notice or liability to you. TrueScripts and each of their respective officers, directors and employees are not responsible and shall not be liable for any losses or injuries of any kind resulting, directly or indirectly, from any TrueScripts text alert program or from technical failures or delays of any kind. TrueScripts reserves the right to cease delivery of text alerts to any person at any time in its sole discretion.

This online Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our site and not to information collected offline. By using our site, you consent to this Privacy Policy. 

We reserve the right to amend or revise this Privacy Policy periodically; material changes will be effective immediately upon display of the revised Privacy Policy.
