TrueScripts Announces 2020 Scholarship Recipients
TrueScripts Management Services, headquartered in Washington, Indiana, provides prescription benefit management expertise to clients across the country. The company was created from a philosophical mission to provide solutions and assistance for the rising costs of prescription medications. As an internal building block to their culture of philanthropy, TrueScripts awards scholarships to all full-time undergraduate students of its team members.
The scholarship program commenced in the Fall of 2017, with $1,250 provided to students each Spring and Fall semester. TrueScripts would like to recognize and congratulate the following 2020 scholarship recipients as they take on the school year ahead:
Recipient of $1,250 in Spring 2020 and $1,250 in Fall 2020
Sara Carpenter is a 2017 graduate of Jasper High School. She is continuing her education at Butler University, where she will graduate from in December of this year. Sara is majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minoring in Mild Intervention and Special Education. She aspires to pursue a master’s degree in Speech- Language Pathology after completing her undergraduate degree. Sara is the daughter of Kurt and Cindy Carpenter. Her father is the Chief Information Officer at TrueScripts.

Nate Kaffenberger is a 2018 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School where he earned 42 credit hours through Vincennes University’s Early College Credit Program. Nate is currently a Junior at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Electrical Engineering. Nate is the son of Alan and Beth Kaffenberger. His father is the Director of Clinical Programs and Compliance at TrueScripts.

Alexandria Huebner is a 2018 graduate of Edgewood High School. She completed one year of general studies at Ivy Tech and has since transferred to the University of Southern Indiana to carry out her studies in Social Work. She aspires to pursue her master’s degree in Social Work with hopes to work with troubled youth. Alex is the daughter of Kevin and Jaime Huebner and Lesley and Kevin Myers. Her stepmother is a Team Lead of Clinical Care at TrueScripts.

Emily Matthews is a 2018 graduate of Washington High School. In December of this year, she will graduate with her degree in Law Enforcement from Vincennes University. In January of 2021, Emily will be going on to IUPUI to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Forensics. Emily is the daughter of Shane and Chasity Matthews. Her mother is the Sr. Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Hannah Matthews graduated from Washington High School in 2018 and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architectural Design at Indiana State University. Hannah is the daughter of Shane and Chasity Matthews. Her mother is the Sr. Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Katherine (Katie) Matthews is a 2017 graduate of Washington High School and holds an associate degree in Pre-Art Therapy from Vincennes University. She currently attends the University of Southern Indiana and will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Art and minor in Psychology this December. In January, she will go on to pursue her master’s degree in Art Therapy from St. Mary-of-the-Woods college. Katie is the daughter of Shane and Chasity Matthews. Her mother is the Sr. Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Lindsey Mehringer is a 2018 graduate of Jasper High School. She is currently continuing her education at Indiana University where she is part of the Nursing School class of 2022. After graduation, Lindsey hopes to further her education and go on to earn her Nurse Practitioner license. Lindsey is the daughter of Gary and Brenda Mehringer. Her father is a Business Analyst at TrueScripts.

Austin Burns is a 2020 graduate of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Georgia. He is currently attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he studies Mechanical Engineering and plays baseball. Austin is the son of Cedric and Valisa Burns. His father is a Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Caragan Wessel is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. She is currently continuing her education at IUPUI, where she is a sophomore. Caragan is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Convention, and Event Management. Caragan is the daughter of PJ and Christie Wessel. Her father is a Business Analyst at TrueScripts.

Brooklyn Fuhs is a 2019 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She is currently attending The Salon Professional Academy in Evansville and will graduate with her cosmetology degree in December of this year. Brooklyn is the daughter of Shellie and Troy Fuhs. Her mother is an Account Manager at TrueScripts.

Hallie Leischner is a 2020 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She has chosen to continue her education at the University of Southern Indiana where she is majoring in Dental Hygiene. Hallie is the daughter of Anne and Shannon Leischner. Her mother is an Account Manager at TrueScripts.

Lauren Kenworthy is a 2020 graduate of Washington High School. She is attending Ivy Tech Community College to study Business Operations, Applications, and Technology. Lauren is the daughter of Mindy and Ryan Kenworthy. Her mother is the Client Reporting and Billing Specialist at TrueScripts.

Jaden Pfoff is a 2018 graduate of Lincoln High School in Vincennes. She will complete degrees in Graphic Design and Art from Vincennes University in the spring of 2021. Jaden is the daughter of Susan Laughlin. Her mother is the Specialty Care Coordinator at TrueScripts.

Jaren Pfoff is a 2019 graduate of Lincoln High School in Vincennes. She attends the University of Evansville and is working towards a master’s degree in Health Services Administration, with a minor in Spanish. She is looking forward to studying abroad at UE’s Harlaxton campus in England in the summer of 2021. Jaren is the daughter of Susan Laughlin. Her mother is the Specialty Care Coordinator at TrueScripts.

Tyler Kluemper is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. He is currently a sophomore at Purdue University, majoring in Nursing. Tyler is the son of Jim and Amanda Kluemper. His mother is an Account Coordinator at TrueScripts.
